Data Engineer III with Credit One Bank, N.A. (Las Vegas, NV) Job Description: Develop and implement a set of techniques or analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software.
Apply data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets. Visualize, interpret, and report. Lead design, develop, and maintain high quality and optimal solutions related to data integration and compelling visualizations for business analysis.
Leverage large volumes of diverse data to understand the relationships, rules, and usage patterns of data. Test and deploy sophisticated analytics programs, machine learning and statistical methods to ensure data is prepared for use in deaccessioning, predictive and prescriptive modeling. Create data pipelines to support analysis and data presentation to the partner teams.
Communicate to key stakeholders based on analysis of data, identifying trends, data insights, and action items. Test and validate machine learning algorithm to enhance existing and/or introduce new processes and show bottom-line impact. Develop project requirements, analytic plans, SOWs, project timelines, roadmaps, and other related materials for the management of outsourced model development and/or management.
Serves as an expert consultant to internal technical and line of business teams. Job Requirements: Requires a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Management Science, or related field. Experience is required (4 years with Bachelor's) which must include some experience in each of the following skills: Business analysis, quantitative analytics, data science; Tableau; Developing complex queries (T-SQL SSIS, Oracle, ETL); SAS; Python; Data Warehousing/Data Lake/Spine; and Operating System - UNIX/Linux.
