- Technical Expertise:
- Strong experience in Oracle 12c/19c and SQL Server 2016/2019 architecture.
- Proficiency in data modeling, PL/SQL, T-SQL, and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing, and cloud databases (Azure SQL, Oracle Cloud).
- Additional Skills:
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks.
- Strong understanding of high availability solutions (Oracle RAC, AlwaysOn Availability Groups).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in database design and architecture.
- Develop logical and physical data models for complex applications.
- Design schemas, tables, indexes, and relationships for optimal performance.
- Define data governance policies, standards, and best practices.
- Create database architecture roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Evaluate and recommend database technologies (Oracle RAC, SQL Server AlwaysOn, cloud solutions).
- Plan for high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery.
- Performance & Optimization:
- Design for query efficiency, indexing strategies, and storage optimization.
- Collaborate with DBAs and developers for performance tuning.
- Integration & Security:
- Define data integration strategies across systems and platforms.
- Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with application architects, business analysts, and DBAs.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
