Together, we've only begun to define the edge of what's possible-for our people, our customers, and the world.The Director, Sourcing and Procurement is responsible for the strategy, planning and execution of sourcing and procurement across Zebra Technology. The Director will establish a strategic, disciplined and integrated procurement function that optimizes new and existing vendor/supplier partnerships to maximize value to the organization while reducing cost.
Responsible for establishing appropriate vendor performance metrics, and the facilitation of vendor performance evaluation. Leads the budgeting process for all capital purchases, subscriptions and maintenance contracts, as well as the sourcing and procurement function to ensure an efficient process is in place to approve and track expenditures. Participates in the development of standards for contracts to ensure they align with Zebra legal strategies and facilitates a Request for Proposal process for complex or high-value items.

Present and support findings and recommendations to various management levels within the organizationDirect efforts to maximize profitability by supporting the Category Management processesInfluence senior business leaders to determine impact of changes to the Category ManagementHelp suppliers with Category Management processes and to resolve issues related to Category Management setup and/or discrepanciesChampion continuous and measurable improvement to the company's Category Management/vendor return processesServe as the senior subject matter expert, developing and presenting recommendations from accurate indirect procurement assessments and/or analysisGather and analyze competitive activity to understand best practices and initiate changes based on findingsQualifications:Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree15+ yrs of procurement experience (Ideally including Outsourcing/Global team management) successfully leading transformational initiatives.
