Join our team and bring your best self to the table.you will be doingThe Enterprise Architect is responsible for GenAI, LLM and Prompt Engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical Architecture solutions to support business needs. They will play an active role in leading the design, partnering with development team and implementation for custom state-of-the-art generative AI solutions.

This role requires deep understanding the current state of architecture, fine-tuning, RAG, vector store, design principles, and building highly scalable solutions to deliver enterprise grade solutions. Excellent presentation skills to explain complex technical problems in simple easy way to support Business usersThe candidate will have a background in computer science or a related technical field with experience working in the Retail or consulting industry. The position will be based in Dallas, TX or Pleasanton, CA.

Main responsibilitiesLead and inspire a cross-functional team of developers, data engineers, DevOps and architects.Build world class solutions by collaborating with cross-functional team of Developers, AI/ML Engineers, Data Engineers, Architects, Engineering Managers, API Developers, and Analysts.Keep an eye on emerging technologies and explore technologies that aid Albertsons stay ahead of the competition.

Inspire and deliver engineering solutions that fuel the growth of the business.Ability to influence across different groups and levels in the organization on the technology strategy and tools selection.Partner & collaborate with business, IT stake stakeholders to define and execute the GenAI, LLM and Prompt Engineering roadmap.

Ensure that architecture & design is scalable, performant, reusable, and secure, and can serve multiple groups and users across the company.Work with engineering leaders to define goals and own the delivery of technical goals and KPIs.Provide technical leadership in engineering practices.

Partner with architecture, Infosec, data scientists, and business leaders to establish a strong relationship and trust for prioritizing and delivering projects on time and with a high degree of quality.Partner with the Audit, Compliance and Governance leaders to ensure data is secured and confirms to the guidelines laid out by the organization and the industryFoster a collaborative and innovative team culture.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

Strong Development and Agile Delivery Experience. Collaborate with the architecture team to integrate AI solutions seamlessly into existing systems.Provide technical leadership in the selection of appropriate technologies for AI implementation.

Lead the implementation of generative AI and models/applications into production environments. Ensure the seamless integration of AI solutions with existing systems and processes. Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize deployment processes.

Oversee the development of robust and generative AI applications. (CA, CO & WA):The salary range is $131,600 to $171,080 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications.

Good understanding of LLM (Azure OpenAI, Google Vertex PalM2, Open Source LLM), Prompt Engineering, RAG, Langchain, Llamaindex, Vector database and Fine Tuning of LLM Models.Track record of guiding teams through unstructured technical problems to deliver business impact. Ability to translate high-level business objectives into actionsSkilled at running cross-functional relationships and communicating with leadership across multiple organizations.

10+ years of experience as a Solution/Enterprise/Principal Architecture role. Background in AI, Generative AI, LLM, Machine Learning and data science.Expertise in solutions architecture with a focus on scalability and performance.

100% Hands-on experience in implementing and deploying AI solutions in real-world scenarios. Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Cloud Architect certifications from Azure and GCP, is preferred.
