Role SummaryThe Finance Data & Analytics Team enables our Finance and Accounting teams and senior leaders at Rivian by crafting the strategy around Finance data, Enterprise reporting, visualization and self-service and implementing it in partnership with our Finance and IT stakeholders. In this highly visible role, you will own Rivian's management reporting suite, executive portal and work on developing high profile dashboards for CFO and other senior leaders across the company. A successful candidate will have expertise in Data visualization best practices, translating high level requirements into intuitive dashboards, passion for storytelling with data and visualizations, strong attention to detail, and a solid understanding of Business Intelligence tools and technologies.

You will also partner with non-Finance business and technology functions to drive enterprise data/reporting strategy, KPI governance and build strong relationships with internal data owners and technical leaders across the organization. ResponsibilitiesOwn the BI tool stack and centralization of key executive reports in Rivian Partner with various stakeholders within and outside Finance to build streamlined, visually appealing dashboards to track company performance Lead and manage 2 offshore analysts in developing and maintaining new reports & analytic solutions as well as supporting existing dashboards Be the product lead for Rivian's executive reporting portal which intends to bring together key reports and dashboards across the org into one centralized, governed location Identify areas of scalability and automation and develop dashboards, reports and data science solutions with solid data quality checks Be the SME and train Finance users on BI tools and data, improving skills across the team Define, document and maintain metric definitions and glossaries for data sources and KPIs Collaborate with other leads in the Finance Data & Analytics team to implement scalable, automated datasets and solutions Represent Finance in broader technology forums and influence the direction of data strategy within the enterprise QualificationsBachelor's degree; Master's degree a plus in Business Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science or related area 6+ years of solid hands-on experience in Tableau and other similar Business Intelligence/Analytics tool stack including data prep and transformation layers Expertise with analytics tech stack and scripting/automation - SQL, Python, R Familiarity with data visualization best practices and principles, such as color theory, visual hierarchy, and storytelling Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment Strong communication skills and ability to partner effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Prior experience in administering Tableau project and managing user roles is a plus Experience in translating business needs into technical requirements and work with developers and data engineers to implement scalable, data solutions Pay DisclosureSalary Range for Palo Alto, CA based applicants: $163,000 - $188,000 annually (Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location and other factors permitted by law)Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26.
