As a Midrange Test Data Environment Build Lead - Hadoop, you will: Description: Midrange Test Data Environment Build Lead - Hadoop Position Summary Looking for a candidate who is well versed in working on Hadoop projects familiar on interacting with Oracle/SQL Server/DB2 RDBMS data in the lower-level testing environments.

The team member will be required to interact with application teams, architects, governance, and audit for defining the strategies required to onboard new applications. They will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency of business operations, processes, and documentation to address product vulnerabilities. They will be reporting daily Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to help drive the success of projects.

Primary Skill Hadoop Required Skills Minimum 2+ years of experience in design and implementation of big data applications using Hadoop technologies Sound understanding and experience with Hadoop ecosystem (Cloudera). Experience in HDFS, Spark, Hive, Linux/Unix technologies is mandatory Experience in Unix shell scripting is mandatory Experience in Java/J2EE and Object-oriented programming. Strong working knowledge of any one or more of the following databases - Netezza, Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2 Strong experience Scripting language experience in job scheduling tools like Autosys or Oozie Basic knowledge of relational databases (SQL) to Understand, Execute and Write SQL Queries.
