Identify areas for improvement in current codebases and solutions, continuously enhancing them through refactoring, unit testing, system testing, and automating deployment and operations.Provide constructive feedback on code developed by fellow engineers, ensuring adherence to best practices such as style guidelines, code accuracy, testability, and efficiency.Maintain a deep understanding of business requirements, working closely with stakeholders, including external partners like loan officers and real estate agents, to address their needs effectively.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, platform, DevOps, data, product, and analytics, to consider broader implications of design decisions beyond technical aspects.Make informed engineering and product decisions through data analysis and collaboration, focusing on empowering operations and enhancing efficiency across the organization.What You Bring5+ years of professional experience working as an engineer.

3+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails and ReactJSExperience designing, building, deploying, operating, and maintaining service-oriented architecture.Strong experience with relational and non-relational database technologiesAbility to deal with ambiguous and complex project requirementsDemonstrates proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.Experience with observability and monitoring systems (NewRelic, Cloudwatch, Sentry)Bonus points forExperience with ReactNative is a plusExposure with ElasticSearchExperience working with dockerExperience working on a small team, ideally at a startup.
