You will also work with partner teams across Snowflake to provide a coherent and compelling experience to our customers. You will make iterative improvements to Snowpark based on customer feedback. WHO YOU ARE:Proficient in the Python programming languageExcited about building great experiences for developers looking to build against the Snowflake platformRESPONSIBILITIES:Design and develop Snowpark features in Python, understand customer requirements and iterate based on feedbackInterface with the open source community and contribute to Snowflake's open source libraries including Snowpark Python and the Snowflake Python ConnectorBuild high quality software that improves the experience of the Data developerEnsure operational readiness of the product and meet customer commitments with regards to incident SLAsWork with Product Management and other partners to deliver robust experiences to our customers.

REQUIREMENTS:5+ years of experience designing and building SDKs and APIs.Knowledge of existing language runtimes - Python in particular. Knowledge of distributed compute platforms like Spark, DASK preferred.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role: The estimated base salary range for this role is $187,000 - $276,000.Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
