In this role, you will: Lead complex initiatives on selected domains Ensure systems are monitored to increase operational efficiency and managed to mitigate risk Define opportunities to maximize resource utilization and improve processes while reducing cost Lead, design, develop, test and implement applications and system components, tools and utilities, models, simulation, and analytics to manage complex business functions using sophisticated technologies Resolve coding, testing and escalated platform issues of a technically challenging nature Lead team to ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives Mentor less experienced software engineers Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including managers Lead team to achieve objectives Partner with production support and platform engineering teams effectively Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education 5+ years of experience in Service Now Application development, installation or trouble shooting 5+ years of experience in understanding service-oriented architecture and ability to consult clients with such topics Experience with web technologies - JavaScript, ES5+, HTML< CSS/SCSS, SQL Experience in one or more JavaScript frameworks like Angular JS or React is a plus Knowledge of web-based protocols and standards Desired Qualifications: 3+ years of experience with Service Now GRC Certified as as Service Now Application Developer Certified as Service Now Implementation Specialist for GRC Micro-certified - Service Portal, ATF, Flow Designer, integration Hub etc. Job Expectations: Develop and implement new Service Now Application using low-code or out of the box solutions Develop workflow and scripts to personalize existing Service Now applications and automate business processes Understand detailed requirements and own code from design, implementation, test automation and delivery Manage deployment by engaging with enterprise platform management during release Manage Production Support by engaging as L3 support team member Manage API integration with non-Service Now application Manage documentation in Confluence of new or existing Service Now applications This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
