From Lock Screen interactions and Notifications to Control Center, the System Experience team is responsible for preserving the fluid look and feel of Apple's ecosystems, as well as frameworks that drive Apple's leading platforms iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS and tvOS.Key QualificationsExperience writing code in Objective C or Swift to test an API, SDK, or FrameworksExperience writing and triaging automated software tests (eg, unit-tests, regression tests, functional tests, stress tests)Experience in developing test plans, assessing risk, filing appropriate bugs, and consolidating bug reportsExperience in driving development and deployment of relevant testing tools and infrastructureExperience with XCTest and XcodeDetail oriented, analytical, and creative problem solver with passion for quality processesAbility to triage problems, prioritize accordingly, and propose a resolutionAbility to work independently, raise issues and take corrective actionKeen eye for detailDescriptionAs a Software Engineer in Test, you will work in a multi-functional team which is responsible for projects such as SpringBoard. You will work closely with software engineers, project managers and other Apple quality teams.
You will ensure that Apple delivers the next generation of its operating systems with the highest quality by providing continuous integration testing. A mix of manual testing supplemented by automated suites help ensure scale, but need to be able to focus on the larger projects while sweating the small UI details.Education & ExperienceBS or MS in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent experiencePay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range.
This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $131,500.00 and $243,300.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
