Microsoft's AIOps team is looking for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our Azure Brain platform team. The Azure Brain platform is at the forefront of driving and delivering cutting-edge AIOps offerings that improve the efficiency, reliability and scalability of IT operations using Artificial Intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML) at cloud scale.

The TPM will be instrumental in driving the Brain AI/ML platform, which includes strategy and execution, with a focus on quality, innovation and predictable releases. Role is based in Redmond, WA only Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product developmento OR equivalent experience.1+ year(s) experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects. Good understanding of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligenceconcepts, with direct experience in developing and deploying Machine Learning models.

Proven experience as a Technical Program Manager or similar role, in a technology-driven environment. Other Requirements: Cloud Background check: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product developmento OR equivalent experience.4+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (eg, sample documentation, product demos).

Technical proficiency with driving complex projects/software platforms. This is not a project management/coordination or business analyst role. Prior experience developing large scale distributed systems.

Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Understanding of AIOps, service health monitoring, and incident management practices. Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and other cloud platforms is highly desirable.

Ability to synthesize, simplify and communicate complex concepts. Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,300 - $182,600 per year.

There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $120,900 - $198,600 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation. Identify opportunities for driving platform consolidation, efficiency, reliability and quality. Drive cross-team technical issues. Define KPIs, establish and execute plans for improving the KPIs.

Monitor and report on the status and improvements to the platform. Develop a deep understanding of the AIOps space and use this knowledge to inform product strategy for AIOps platform.
