GBS supports the company's digital transformation across technology, strategic sourcing, procurement, operational excellence, collaboration services, analytics, and eventsThe VP Enterprise Software Engineering - Enterprise Systems Shared Services is responsible for leading Enterprise Systems Applications and services supporting End-to-End Application Architecture and Business Analysis, Technical Project Management, Quality Assurance, Application DBA Support, and Application Support across various cloud and traditional data centers supporting all WK utilizing ERP's, Salesforce, BI, Cloud Engineering Technologies (Kubernetes, Dockers/Containers, AWS/Azure services), Java/.

The team works closely with BRMs, Global Information Security, Infrastructure operations, SAP BASIS team, Architecture, GBS IT PMO, Business Units/Divisions, and other Delivery organizations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Lead cross-functional teams to successfully deliver on system design and development for the needed business requirements supporting various Business UnitsLead cross-functional teams to implement Enterprise Systems Applications and services supporting End-to-End Application Architecture and Business Analysis, Technical Project Management, Quality Assurance, Application DBA Support, and Application Support across various cloud and traditional data centers supporting all WK utilizing ERP's, Salesforce, BI, Cloud Engineering Technologies (Kubernetes, Dockers/Containers, AWS/Azure services), Java/.

Net technologies, EDI, and other ServicesLead and manage technical project management and Quality Assurance functions across divisions/regionsLead and manage the DR and Audit Services needed for Enterprise SystemsLead and manage the portfolio of work for various business unitsWork across the GBS organizations including teams responsible for requirements, solution architecture, quality assurance and production supportLead and manage continuous improvement planning deliverablesAttract, motivate, retain, and hire top technologistsPartner with hardware, software, and services vendorsProvide strong and deep technical insights in various disciplines across deliveryProvide strategic, architectural, solution, implementation, and support guidance across various applications including but not limited to Integration, STEP Platform, enterprise systems supportMaintain comprehensive knowledge of industry standards, methodologies, processes, and best practicesEstablish and maintain competence in current and planned versions of productsUnderstand the use of industry tools/technology & their impact on project & operational goalsNegotiate and structure contracts favorable to the organization.Assist in process improvement initiatives by working across technical teams to enhance the systems, processes, and controls to ensure effective development, monitoring, and support is in placeRepresent Wolters Kluwer within the industry by developing and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of Wolters Kluwer products, industry trends and general business and financial acumen through various sources and initiative.
