The Core Bluetooth team is looking for a motivated software engineer to design, implement, and maintain next generation connectivity solutions. You are responsible for crafting software frameworks and developing world changing wireless protocols on the very latest Apple products.Key QualificationsVery strong C+, C, Objective-C, or SwiftStrong experience in framework and operating systems developmentStrong experience in building and debugging IPC mechanismsSelf-motivated and dedicated with validated creative and critical thinking capabilitiesThrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate while authoritatively driving multiple projects across many teamsObsessively passionate and inquisitive, and seek to pursue everyday problems in innovative waysLaser-focused on the smallest details that are meaningful to our customersBluetooth and/or networking experience preferred, not requiredDescriptionYou will be challenged with unique problems: building and developing software solutions to enrich the Apple ecosystem for current and next generation products.
Education & ExperienceBachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.Additional RequirementsApp development experience a plus!Pay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
The base pay range for this role is between $131,500.00 and $243,300.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
