Principal Architect (Full Time)

Location: Chicago, Illinois Country: United States of America Rate: 135k-165k + bonus

Principal Architect: Node/.NET/C#/Azure/M365

-Our client's Principal Architect position requires a person that has repeatedly demonstrated an ability to design scalable and supportable solutions to business problems outlined by the firm's clients.

-The Principal Architect must have mastered the ability to consistently deliver a high level of quality and success to our clients.

-Additionally, they are recognized both internally and externally as a technical expert and regularly offer guidance to other co-workers.

-The primary focus of a Principal Architect is to be engaged with multiple clients and projects.

-Architecting and Designing solutions that are scalable, robust and address the business issues.

-A Principal Architect is expected to have one or more areas of expertise that aligns with the Firm's Primary Service Offerings.

-They should be accomplished authors or speakers in their area of expertise and knowledge.

-In addition, Principal Architects are expected to continue sharing their knowledge internally on both projects that they are directly involved in and those that they are not.

-They are to be leaders and regular contributors to the Vision of the Firm.

-They should be recognized as contributing to the improvement of all projects through their knowledge and sharing efforts.

-It is expected that the Principal Architect completely understands and embraces the Firm's concept of "Experience" and has demonstrated the ability to deliver outstanding client experiences on multiple occasions.

-The Principal Architect is accountable and responsible for seeing that every project delivers on our promises to clients.

-The Principal Architect should be comfortable in providing sales support - through demonstrations, estimates, and proposal presentations.

-They should be working closely with Practice Leaders to define and build service offerings.

Essential Job Functions:

-Work independently or as part of a Solution Team to deliver quality business solutions to our clients.

-This requires attention to detail, ability to work within deadlines, strong communication skills and sharp analytical abilities to insure that our solutions are meeting our clients business and financial needs.

-The primary tasks are generally gathering business, functional and technical requirements.

-Develop architectures and designs that support the underlying business solution in a scalable, robust way.

-Oversee development and testing work as your designs are created and implemented.

Minimum Education & Experience

4 Year College Degree or Equivalent
Minimum 10 years of technical experience with .NET, C#, Node, Cloud, Azure, M365, Data Warehousing, and/or Business Intelligence
Minimum of 10 years Professional Services Consulting Experience (or equivalent)
Demonstrated ability to gather business requirements and design solutions
Ability to work closely with and assist co-workers
Proven success in analysing, designing and implementing successful solutions
Skilled communicator
Recognized area of expertise
Skills, Knowledge, and Talents
Ability to communicate (written and verbal) in a professional manner when dealing with clients, co-workers and other contacts
Talent for learning new technologies, languages and applications along with an ability to adapt quickly in dynamic scenarios
