Our direct, well-known client located in a suburb of Cleveland is looking for an experienced and energetic IT Contracts Account Manager to join their Strategic Vendor Management Office in a contract-to-hire opening!

Position Responsibility:
This role involves strategic account oversight which includes partnering with aligned Vendor Managers to execute relationship and performance management, vendor product knowledge, financial and risk management as well as contract negotiations and contract life cycle management for our most strategic accounts and partnerships that support the delivery of IT goods and services which enables us to meet strategic business needs.


Extensive experience in negotiating and managing contracts (hardware, software, services); working with large consulting firms and systems integrators
Contract Management Lifecycle (terms + conditions, SLA's and performance incentives etc.)
Experience with assembling and presenting executive level data and information to senior management including CIO, CFO, and CEO for decision making purposes
Good experience working with IT vendors like IBM, Dell EMC, Oracle, Cisco, etc.


Knowledge of Business and Information Technology functions and roadmaps, industry trends, best practices and regulatory standards
Ability to align local goals and direction with IT vision, strategy and priorities
Advanced analysis and problem solving skills with the ability to analyze data from various sources to determine next steps and choose the best method to display the data.
Excellent negotiation skills and ability to influence others through sharing information and gaining commitment
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build successful working relationships, internal and external
Coaching skills and ability to assist others in learning new professional capabilities
Excellent listening, verbal and written communications skills with the ability to translate technical information into understandable terms to a variety of audiences.
Excellent facilitation and meeting management skills with the ability to create a framework that encourages participation and productivity
Ability to bring people together to work through issues and resolve conflict
Formal presentation skills and the ability to present ideas and recommendations effectively to executive level leadership
Ability to research and maintain awareness of emerging technology, industry direction, best practices and regulatory standards
