Award Winning Care

At OhioHealth, Believe InWE is more than a tagline. Its the philosophy that drives us toward our mission to improve the health of those we serve. We see our future clearly, with a vision to be a place where people want to work, where physicians want to practice, and most importantly, where patients want to go when they need healthcare services.

Were looking for passionate, talented leaders who are inspired by our mission and share our values of integrity, compassion, excellence and stewardship. Were cultivating innovation and seek naturally curious leaders. Our leaders should be eager to learn and always looking for new possibilities. We must be willing to try new things and be ready to step outside of our comfort zones and accept that not everything will work. Our leaders must serve as role models and be able to lead others through change and transformation.

Who We Are

OhioHealth is a nationally-recognized, not-for-profit, charitable healthcare organization with Methodist roots. Serving our communities since 1892, we are a family of 28,000 associates, physicians and volunteers. Our network of 11 hospitals, more than 50 ambulatory sites, hospice, home health, medical equipment and other health services, span nearly half of Ohios 88 counties. We pride ourselves on our outstanding culture, so its no surprise weve been recognized byFortunemagazine as one of the 100 Best Companies to Work For for a decade. We also rank in the 97th percentile in physician engagement by Press Ganey.

What We Believe
We believe OhioHealth exists to provide care for our communities. We do so by working toward our mission to improve the health of those we serve. We value integrity so that people can count on us. We value compassion so everyone feels appreciated. We value excellence so that we can deliver greatness. We value stewardship so that we make a difference.

How Were Leading
Our growth strategy is founded on convenience, with intention to help patients access care thats close to where they live or work. Our ambulatory and physician networks are robust and are geographically well distributed. Were growing, with more than 60 ambulatory locations, more than 600 employed physicians and a clinically integrated network of more than 2,100 physicians.

OhioHealth isnt the only healthcare system in central Ohio, but we have 46 percent market share compared to 27 percent of our two, major competitors. Our major clinical programs cardiovascular, neuroscience, oncology, orthopedics and womens health continue to grow, which allows us to provide more care to more patients in need of specialized healthcare.

Like all healthcare organizations, OhioHealth is in the midst of significant change. The market is evolving from sick care to well care and patients are searching for value in a high-cost world of healthcare.

When something is described as valuable, it means it is of great worth. At OhioHealth, we are not only setting the standard for high-quality, patient-centered healthcare, we are forging a path for how healthcare should be delivered in a future. Its worthy work. We aspire to be chosen as the system of care and excel in a value-based market. Success will require innovation in the way we do our work today, and in how we approach new capabilities. Yet, we are confident we will succeed, because our values of compassion, integrity, excellence and stewardship will be our stronghold.

Where We Live
We are proud to call Ohio our home. Theres an energy and excitement in Columbus that hits you as soon as you arrive. The city is booming and not just in population.
