Dematic Corp has an immediate need for Software Commissioning Engineers at our office located in Monterrey, Mexico.

. The SAE CE performs the SAE checkout or commissioning of the equipment to ensure that it is operating in a manner adequate to satisfy the terms of the customer contract and the technical design with respect to operating parameters, and functional considerations.

. During the assignment, the engineer will work under the direction and coordination of the Project Manager and/or SAE lead engineer.

. Using project functional documentation and test plans, with support from the project team, the SAE CE will execute testing and verification/validation of the equipment (ex. DMS aisle), equipment subsystems (ex. DMS subsystem), and functional subsystems (Receiving/Decant).

. Working with SAE Lead, cleanup/clarify unit and integration test plans.

. In cases where verification/validation tests do not conform to the expected results, SAE CE will provide logging information, test details and times to project team for root cause analysis.

. The SAE CE may be involved in the setup and configuration of system hardware (hand scanners, label printers, Maxi picks) or software with direction from the project team.

. When commissioning is complete, the SAE CE may act in support of the senior project engineers during volume and acceptance testing prior to release of the system to the customer.

. 100% travel in North America is required. All travel will originate in Monterrey.

. May be required to communicate directly with customer personnel at site.

. Works under the direction of a project team to perform necessary and related commissioning tasks

. Knows and observes Dematic Safety policy and procedure.

. Applies critical thinking and problem solving skills to common commissioning tasks.

. Works productively as a member of interdisciplinary teams to achieve project commissioning goals.

. Gathers requested data and reports as instructed by lead engineer.

. Submits accurate and timely reports of travel expenses, hours worked, and commissioning activities.

. Performs commissioning tasks and any other work determined to be suitable by the site project lead or SAE CE Program Management

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. Bachelor's degree in Mechatronic, Mechanical or Electrical acceptable.

. Bilingual - TOEFL 550 or better.

. Quick Learner.

. Good trouble shooter and problem solver.

. Standard MSOffice application and MS Windows proficiency.

. Knowledge of Software/Hardware setup.

. Knowledge Java, C#, C++.

. Comfortable working with automated equipment.

. Resident of Monterrey or metropolitan area.
