The IT Technical Lead, under the leadership of the Supply Chain Operations Senior IT Manager, will work on technology solutions that enable Supply Chain Operations business to transform their processes and capabilities utilizing off the shelf solutions, automation, integrations, and light custom development. This role will also work with other IT teams to integrate to other business systems including ERP. The IT Technical Lead is a hands-on partner through all phases of the Solution Lifecycle, from concept, design, implementation and delivery. This role will be required to demonstrate senior-level leadership skills and experience in delivering technology and solutions to the business. The IT Technical Lead has the ability to mentor and develop others, collaborating, and strong capabilities working with other IT and business functions. They also must be able to understand business processes at a high and low level, provide business insight across multiple domains, and influence the technology footprint. This person will demonstrate an ability to manage complex, ambiguous information to effectively solve problems and eliminate Legacy issues and roadblocks. Finally, this role applies knowledge of IT and business to advance organizational goals, and comfortably navigates policy, people and process-related organizational dynamics. This role does not involve managing direct reports.

Essential Functions

*

Primary Technology SME for the Supply Chain Operation's Technology Transformation and Road Map
*

Serves as a primary business contact to understand and document "As-Is" process flows, understand challenges, collect requirements, and find technology solutions that resolve challenges and give the business better capabilities to become more efficient and grow
*

Finds and implements strategic innovative solutions and is accountable for major technology and projects across the Supply Chain Operations domain
*

This person will work closely with engineering to solution problems.
*

Works with stakeholders and leadership to gather support and present proposed solutions. Has senior leadership understanding and influence (decision scope) with business customers
*

Work with internal functions and Vendors to get RFP's, quotes, and create Appropriation requests for projects
*

Solicits ideas from others; recognizes contributions of others
*

Works well and collaborates with Operations Site IT teams to manage projects and achieve goals
*

Develops expertise in Vehicle Processing and Part Distribution operational processes focusing on continuous improvement utilizing technology. Supply Chain Logistics knowledge is a plus
*

Manages work within committed timelines and budgets; is accountable for all assigned tasks and projects; regularly informs manager of progress when issues or conflicts occur and makes recommendations for resolution.
*

Leads or participates in project activities such as software/solution rollouts, systems upgrades and hardware replacement all while following the IT governance process.
*

Responsible for turning over systems implementation to site teams that will maintain the solution
*

Coaches and mentors on best practices and team optimizations. Drives for Results
*

Authors, reviews and approves information, requirements and specification to design and develop solutions for domains within multiple enterprise supply chain applications
*

Architects domain and solutions with multiple teams in mind. Solutions must be scalable and supportable. Can quickly get up to speed on any project or technology. Recognized as an expert and acts within the team as a "go to person."

Recognized leader within the team, expert in most/all business domains used at the company
*

Researches new knowledge and collaborates on solutions for multiple projects.
*

Deploys new approaches to domain optimizations and anticipates domain requirements and business needs.

Designs and implements integrated solutions to resolve highly complex technical and business issues

Expert knowledge in Object Oriented principles, SaaS, Web and Cloud Platforms

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience requirements:

Requires a Bachelor's degree in MIS, CIS, EE, EET, Computer Science or related field and 8 years minimum experience working/implementing applications and technology solutions for manufacturing or distribution industry or possess an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 3 years of experience managing and developing teams.

4 years experience solutioning and implementing technology and systems for manufacturing or distribution operations. Prefer ( MES) Manufacturing Execution System and/or (WMS) Warehouse Management System background
*

3 years minimum of experience working in Active Directory, Windows OS, Windows Server OS, LINUX, and/or Unix server environment using Oracle or MS SQL databases with extensive knowledge of systems, Application Server maintenance, promoting software updates, testing application modifications, and working in multiple environments.
*

Experience deploying and administering applications in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
*

Experience with computer systems implementation, experience supporting large scale software systems in a manufacturing or distribution industry, and be able to function in shared services support organizations.
*

Highly motivated individual with deep technology understanding, capable of learning and digesting new technologies rapidly.

*

Solid knowledge of TCP/IP networking, related network services (ie DNS, SMTP, DHCP, etc.), infrastructure technologies including LAN, WAN, switches, Routers and wireless AP's.
*

Knowledge of database programming concepts.
*

Knowledge of Agile Methodologies
*

Advanced knowledge of best practices and standards for enterprise software solutions

*

Excellent analytical, problem solving, and debugging skills. Must possess excellent technical skills in systems administration, systems analysis, application and hardware troubleshooting in order to understand, maintain, and improve systems.
*

Excellent written and oral communication skills, along with good listening and problem solving skills.
*

Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas amongst team members of various technical skill levels as well as customers in a clear and concise manner at a level appropriate for the intended audience.

Some programming experience (VB, .NET, JAVA, C#, HTML) a plus but not required.
