The Manager, IT Security & Networking Services supports Stein Mart's IT operations through the following key deliverables:

  • Accountable for the information security and networking services programs: planning and implementation of IT systems, services, and business processes to protect Stein Mart against internal and external security breaches or cyber threats.
  • Provide reporting and recommendations to senior leadership on changes in legal, technical and regulatory landscape that affect Stein Mart's security posture.
  • Customer-centril operational excellence: establish on-going dashboard reporting for data-driven continuous improvement.


  • Ensure that implemented systems, services, business processes, security policies, activities, and standards are compliant with PCI, SOX, HIPPA, CCPA, PII and any other applicable regulations.
  • Build high-performance Information Security and Networking teams.
  • Build and execute strategic roadmap for Security and Networking.
  • Serve as focal point of contact for all information security incidents and track all security related incidents from notification to resolution. Proactively conduct security risk and impact assessments; evaluate assessment results for overall effectiveness of the Information Security Program.
  • Manage technical landscape of networking and security solutions; optimize support process to solve incidents with Urgency and High Standards.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years IT Security and Networking experience.
  • Experience with vendor management and outsourced services.
  • Possess excellent organization, prioritization and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence, collaborate, lead team and partners through change, and deliver results. Able to communicate security-related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff.
  • Identity Management (IM); Access Management (AM); Security Information and Event Management (SIEM); Threat and Vulnerability Management; Data Security and Data Leak Prevention.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience with industry standard applications for E-Mail, Office productivity and (dashboard) reporting applications.

Technical skills

  • Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, IoT), hardware, software, security and networking technologies (LAN/WAN, VPN, Routing, Wireless).
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components (Active Directory, Messaging, Networking, Security, O365).
  • Strong problem resolution skills with drive and focus on accuracy and completion.
