Leggett & Platt, Incorporated is seeking an IT Manager for our Georgetown, KY facility to install, upgrade, and troubleshoot the information systems of the company.

What you'll do

• Maintain the local area network.
• Maintain user access to all systems using Active Directory and other systems.
• Create and maintain user profiles with access templates for each position.
• Maintain IT related fixed assets and perform fixed asset physical inventory as requested.
• Ensure Segregation of Duties policies are followed.
• Develop, manage, and implement hardware maintenance, software support, network and backups in accordance with corporate IT policies.
• Schedule and produce periodic reports regarding MIS performance.
• Analyze and recommend software and hardware to maximize productivity for all networks in accordance with corporate IT policies.
• Provide reports to the management team regarding IT performance.
• Assist with physical inventories.
• Assist all users with hardware and software support as needed.
• Oversee MIS staff and conduct performance evaluations.

Minimum qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Information Security, Computer Programming, or related field.
• At least five years of MIS experience, with at least two years in a supervisory role.
• Programming knowledge is required for use with Crystal Reports and database development projects.
• Thorough understanding of networking systems, such as LAN and WAN.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of various computer operating systems and interfaces.
