Summary
The MIL Corporation seeks a Sr. Cyber Systems Architect to support a Federal Government client at our Lexington Park, Maryland location. The Sr. Cyber Systems Architect will support the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Security Engineering Branch in the development of secure and resilient aviation architectures.

Responsibilities
? Develop and/or design cyber-secure aviation architectures to be utilized across the NAVAIR product line, using software and systems engineering principles in a small team environment
? Support analysis of impacts of design choices on system interoperability
? Support development of acquisition documentation that supports integrating system and architecture improvements into Navy program offices
? Very good verbal and written communication skills, to clearly and concisely explain architecture structure, assumptions and linkages to existing aviation systems
? Willingness to stay current on technical progress and trends in architecture development and cyber security

Required Qualifications
? Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related Engineering degree
? 10 years of experience in architecture development, preferably related to aviation platforms and systems
? Possess active Secret security clearance
? Certifications which qualify the candidate for IAT II (CCNA-Security, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) or IAM II (CAP, CASP CE, CISM, CISSP, or GSLC) according to DoD Directive 8140.01 which provides the basis for an enterprise-wide solution to train, certify and manage the DoD Cybersecurity Workforce

Desired Qualifications
? Master's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related Engineering degree
? 14 years of experience in architecture development, preferably related to aviation platforms and systems
? Possess active Top Secret/SCI security clearance
? Certifications which qualify the candidate for IAT III (CASP CE, CISA, CISSP, GCED, or GCIH) or IAM III (CISM, CISSP, or GSLC) according to DoD Directive 8140.01 which provides the basis for an enterprise-wide solution to train, certify and manage the DoD Cybersecurity Workforce
