The Opportunity

Provide support for IT and AV for Gaming and Hotel Operations under the guidance of the Director of IT.

  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality of company information
  • Set up and maintain PCs, laptops, printers, and other peripherals for end-users.
  • Provide first class technical support for all computer systems on property.
  • Assists training current and new associates on proper procedures and regulations.
  • Assist all other departments in ensuring positive customer satisfaction in all aspects of daily operations.
  • Provides professional end-user equipment support.
  • Provide support for events, marketing, and manager meetings.
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications and operating systems, including Windows, Office, and server environments.
  • Responsible for maintenance, installation and repairs of all equipment associated with audio systems, telephone systems, security systems, satellite systems, computers and networks, and all associated cabling throughout facility.
  • Provide application support for Player Tracking Systems, POS systems, Casino CAD, Global Payments, etc.
  • Setup and tear down AV requests: laptops, projectors. Maintain digital signage throughout the property.
  • Troubleshooting TCP/IP, LAN/WAN connectivity, switching and routing.
  • Troubleshooting of end-user software including the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Operate and troubleshoot facility IP based phone & PA system.
  • Assist IT Analyst in tasks, projects, and assignments as required.
  • Role model company guest service program
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of hands on experience preferred.
  • Ability to manage projects and ensure that project(s) are completed meeting set goals; attention to detail is crucial.
  • Intermediate knowledge/experience with point of sale (POS) or casino/gaming systems preferred, but not required.
  • Sufficient working knowledge of Microsoft Windows network environment and solid understanding of VMWare-VSphere required.
  • Knowledge in routers, layer 2/3 switches, and security appliances.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy administration.
  • Knowledge of and troubleshooting skills in Cisco VoIP Servers and client devices.
  • Excellent problem diagnosis and problem solving skills.
  • Basic math skills, addition and subtraction.
  • Multitasking skills.
  • Strong advanced knowledge of VMWare & ESXI environment.
  • Audio/Visual Experience a plus.
  • Ability to operate independently with a minimal management intervention; must be a self-starter.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and follow jurisdictional regulations.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior technical staff, and work in a position of a senior technical resource.
  • CCNA and/or related VMWare certification a plus.
  • Strong understanding of computer network concepts and topologies a plus.
  • Must be able to obtain a key New York State Gaming License
