Global Financial Firm has a Contract Opportunity in NYC

The purpose of this function is to participate in the confirmation, remediation and testing of collateral types, loan purpose codes and borrower reference data to insure the correctness of reference data files within the Bank's various loan systems (eg Loan IQ (LS2) in support of mandated Client Bank reporting on the Bank's Capital Adequacy Reserves.

. Working with the Bank Regulatory Reporting Project Manager to improve the accuracy of the Bank's loans reference data files and process for input and reporting.

. Responsible for participating in maintenance of reference data in various loan platforms.

. Working with other groups within Bank who own systems that interact with the general ledger system (SAP) with loan related data.

. Participate in static data clean-up and exceptions investigation

. Review of accounting transactions in accordance with Accounting Principles

. Document detailed business requirements, process flows and other documents as necessary.


. 5 - 7+ years experience in the Loans product including syndicated and traded loans

. Knowledge of Loan IQ-LS2 system

. Analyzing reference data mappings and Loan Purpose Codes.

. Able to read and understand loan document terminology

. Understand loan booking and loan processing

. Able to Identify tactical and strategic potential solutions for internal and external problems

. Experience in at least one related other area - Legal entity control/reporting, Financial Control, IPV, Regulatory reporting, Risk management

. Experience in at least one of the following architecture components - Business process definition, functional definition, data definition, application architecture.

. Exposure to, but not necessarily direct responsibility for, strategic project implementation.

. Exposure in DFAST and CCAR regulations a big plus
