Please note this position REQUIRES several years of engineer level experience installing/migrating and restoring MS servers. So many Servers you ve lost count!

Responsibilities:
  • Work with clients to suggest technical solutions that meet their business needs
  • Write proposals and executive level documentation
  • Fulfill role as Lead Project Engineer - new installs, migrations and troubleshooting
  • Resolve service support tickets that will require onsite and remote work
  • Update internal and client documentation as needed; changes, adds and removals
  • Identify opportunities and areas of improvement while interacting with clients
  • Document all work performed in the PSA/CMDB
  • Utilize our Managed Service tools to support our clients and stay up to date on improvements made to the tools
Technical Knowledge & Experience:
  • Extensive experience with desktop and server operating systems, including Windows 7/10 and Windows Server 2003, 2008 and 2012
  • Extensive experience with Firewall technologies, switching, virtualization, storage technologies, MS Exchange/O365
  • Extensive application support experience with Microsoft Office products
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s Degree or equivalent working experience
  • 8+ years experience in an IT Engineering role
  • Exceptional written/oral communication skills and the ability to listen
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on rapport-building
  • Reliable transportation required and the ability to walk/stand for 10 hours a day
  • Permanent work authorization in the US
  • Certifications in the following technologies a plus:
    • Microsoft
    • Cisco/Meraki
    • VMware
    • Citrix
