Project Manager - Business Analyst - Contract - 3 days per week central London - £500-550pd via Umbrella

Your role

We're looking for an individual with business analysis and project management skills who can help us:

- Drive the successful delivery of projects in the electronic trading space for cash and exchange-traded derivatives products.

- Translate business and IT requirements for electronic trading projects across a broad spectrum of demands.

- Collaborate with trading venues, clients and other third parties to deliver projects.

- Work closely with the trading desks to gather and refine requirements, provide project updates and be a subject matter expert on the behaviour of the trading platform and exchange functionality.

- Coordinate exchange mandatory projects across the wider electronic trading team ensuring all technical and regulatory factors are accounted for.

Your experience and skills

You have:

- Strong understanding of electronic trading systems from a functional and technical perspective.

- Industry experience with direct exchange connectivity (market data and order entry) and an understanding of the exchange technologies/protocols and market structure.

- Knowledge of the European marketplace in cash or exchange-traded derivatives.

- Excellent client-facing and interpersonal communication skills.

- Core understanding of standard work practices such as agile and scrum.

- Experience managing an order management applications and associated infrastructure.

You are:

- Experienced managing projects that cover multiple teams and regions.

- Well-organized with the ability to manage a portfolio of projects of medium to high complexity.

- A team player who relishes collaborating with a large number of internal development, business, support and infrastructure teams and external third parties.
